Mouse cursor disappears after exiting a program due to faulty program.
Cause:
The program being used is faulty and does not return the cursor when the program is exited.
Solution:
To force the cursor to reappear, run another program or restart the computer.
Do one of the following until the cursor appears back on the screen:
1) Run another Windows application and exit it immediately.
2) Reboot the computer by doing one of the following:
a) Press the RESET button on the computer.
NOTE: Not all computers have a RESET button.
b) Press CTRL+ALT+DEL to reboot the computer.
c) Turn off the computer, wait 15 seconds, and turn the computer on again.
